Are you a seasoned Business Analyst with a passion for digital transformation and a proven track record in e-commerce? We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to spearhead the crucial project of selecting, acquiring, and implementing our next-generation e-commerce platform. You will act as the vital link between business vision and technical execution, ensuring that our new webshop is built on the right foundation to meet future growth demands.Key Responsibilities – What You Will AchieveDefine the Blueprint: Lead comprehensive requirement gathering sessions across the organization. You will analyze business needs (customer experience, operations, marketing) and translate them into a crystal-clear, prioritized set of technical requirements for the platform.Drive Platform Selection: Manage the end-to-end evaluation process for potential e-commerce solutions and external implementation partners. This includes creating RFPs/RFIs, assessing vendor capabilities, and recommending the best fit for our long-term strategy.Ensure Integration Success: Oversee the technical integration plan, guaranteeing the new platform interfaces flawlessly with our existing core IT landscape (e.g., Finance, Operations, Customer Systems).Govern Delivery: Partner with IT to monitor the agile development and deployment lifecycle, conducting regular checks to confirm that all technical deliverables meet the documented requirements and the highest quality standards.Mitigate & Optimize: Proactively manage project risks and identify potential roadblocks. Champion opportunities for process and system improvements throughout the entire project timeline.Stakeholder Alignment: Maintain transparent communication with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, providing clear, structured updates on progress, challenges, and strategic decisions.Your Expertise & BackgroundExperience & Education: A minimum of 10 years in a Business Analyst role, with significant experience in large-scale e-commerce, digital transformation, or complex integration projects. Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant field (IT, Engineering, Business Administration).Must-Have Technical Acumen:Expertise with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).Deep understanding of the landscape of enterprise e-commerce platforms (e.g., industry leaders like Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus, SAP, etc.).Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and related tooling.agilVendor Management: Demonstrated success in evaluating, selecting, and managing external SaaS providers and system integrators.Analytical Power: Exceptional ability to distill complex operational and technical challenges into structured, actionable insights.Collaboration: Proven capability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, fostering alignment between business and technical stakeholders.Communication: Fluent, professional command of both Dutch and English is mandatory.What Sets You Apart (Bonus Points)Prior exposure to backend systems like ERP, BSS, or similar core business platforms.Experience or knowledge of digital marketing optimization, including SEO/SEM strategies.A background in regulated industries or large-scale consumer-facing digital projects.A strong understanding of financial modelling related to technology investment (e.g., ROI, TCO, cost-benefit analysis).
