What your future may hold
As Payroll Specialist you juggle many tasks and have a significant impact on both your internal and external customers.
- Calculating & paying wages and premiums with pinpoint accuracy and on time, in cooperation with our social secretary (SD Worx).
- Act as the point of contact for any inquiries about payroll and HR administrative related concerns for all employees.
- Advise HR & management regarding labour law, social & tax laws and regulations in order to improve best practices and take initiatives where possible.
- Play a part in the introduction and onboarding of new staff (explaining the house rules, procedures, and the use of HR applications, etc.).
- Maintain existing personnel management systems to ensure correct and full information for all types of contracts (interim, employee, contractors).
- Liaise with insurance providers on affiliations, and set up & maintain personal contributions in payroll.
- Ensure the preparation of employment contracts and amendments to the employment contracts.
- Support in continuously improving (digital) procedures and forms according to social and fiscal regulations to guarantee efficient management of personnel administration.
- Support in implementing various projects within specific HR fields.
Minimum Requirements:
- A proven track record of at least 5 years as a Payroll Specialist (calculating & paying wages and premiums on time).
- Excellent knowledge of Belgian social and labour legislation & Belgian taxation regulations regarding wages and good knowledge of payroll Software (eBlox HR & eBlox Payroll are an asset).
- You are an expert in time management, organised and accurate.
- Excel holds no secrets for you and you're analytical and good with numbers.
- You have strong communication skills at different levels: external partners, internal clients & stakeholders.
- The confidence to take full ownership and a true drive to help people and to deliver.
- You are fluent in English and Dutch or French plus conversational skills in the other one.
