We are seeking a MEMS engineer (measurements and automation) to support the characterization and development of next-generation MEMS and microsystem technologies. In this role, you will contribute to experimental testing, setup development, and measurement automation within a multidisciplinary R&D environment. You will play a key role in executing measurement campaigns, developing new characterization platforms, and ensuring accurate and reliable data acquisition to support device design and process optimization. Responsibilities Execute established measurement methods for mechanical and functional characterization Design, build, and validate new measurement and test setups for MEMS devices Perform data acquisition, analysis, and reporting Develop (semi-)automated measurement systems and data-processing tools Contribute to standardization and automation of lab workflows Collaborate closely with design, fabrication, and characterization teams Prepare technical documentation and communicate results to stakeholders Qualifications Master’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Hands-on experience with laboratory instrumentation and measurement systems Proficiency in Python and/or MATLAB for automation and data analysis Strong experimental and troubleshooting skills Structured communicator with solid reporting capabilities Comfortable working in a laboratory environment with strict safety practices Nice to have Knowledge of microfabrication or MEMS design tools (COMSOL, ANSYS, etc.) Experience with advanced metrology or optomechanical/acoustic systems
