Transform SQL Server Expertise into Technical Vision for the Future About This Role A senior reference with strong SQL Server expertise is needed to lead a major technical transformation. You'll mentor and uplift DBAs, tackle critical performance issues, and help shape the company's technical vision. This role blends architecture, cloud innovation, performance leadership, mentoring, and strategic decision-making. If you're looking to make a real impact at scale, this is the perfect opportunity. Key Responsibilities Mentor and uplift junior DBAs Tackle complex performance issues Contribute to building governance frameworks Migrate over a thousand databases to SQL 2025 You'll also be responsible for designing a modern automation platform using DevOps, PowerShell, and TerraForm. This will require strong diagnostic, optimization, and security skills at system level. Required Skills and Qualifications Strong SQL Server expertise in critical environments Solid experience with cloud technologies, especially Azure SQL and NoSQL Technical architecture capabilities and experience defining standards Diagnose and Optimize Complex Issues: A good understanding of development (T-SQL, application performance) is essential for this role. You should be able to identify and resolve complex problems efficiently.
