As a Data Architect you play a pivotal role in this mission by designing and maintaining the foundational data model that enables our clients to harness the full potential of their data. You will lead the charge in crafting robust data solutions, ensuring data quality, security, and performance, and ultimately, transforming data into actionable intelligence. The Data Architect is responsible for designing and implementing data architecture strategies, ensuring high data quality, efficient integration, and optimal performance within TrendMiner. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, uniform and secure data solutions that empower data-driven

decision-making for stakeholders.

Essential Functions:
- Data Strategy and Design: Develop and implement data architecture strategies aligned with TrendMiner’s goals and needs. A consistent and unified data handling philosophy.- Data Modeling and Schema Design: Create and maintain robust data models and database schemas to optimize data storage and retrieval.- Data Integration: Design and oversee the integration of various data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and synchronization. Eg, meaningful mapping from different data sources to TrendMiner.- Data Governance and Security: Establish data governance policies and procedures to maintain data quality, integrity, and security throughout our platform.- Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance-tuning techniques to optimize data processing and reduce query response times.- Cloud Infrastructure Management: Collaborate with the Cloud Operations team to manage the cloud-based infrastructure and ensure the scalability and reliability of data systems.- Data Quality Management: Implement data quality standards and conduct periodic data quality assessments to enhance data accuracy.- Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with software developers to integrate data-related functionalities into the platform.Minimum requirements:
- Strong knowledge of data architecture principles and data management best practices.- Proficiency in data modeling, database design, integrations, Connectors and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.- Experience with cloud-based data platforms and services (e.g., AWS).- Familiarity with data governance, data security, performance and regulatory compliance.- Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to address complex data challenges.- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.- Fluent in English.- You are solution-oriented and can approach functional needs with an open mindset.
