De data architect is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen en onderhouden van de algehele architectuur van de datasystemen en databases van een organisatie. Deze cruciale rol betreft het samenwerken met stakeholders om bedrijfsvereisten te begrijpen, data-architectuurstrategieën te definiëren en te zorgen dat data-assets aansluiten bij de doelstellingen van de organisatie. De data architect is essentieel voor het ontwikkelen van veilige, efficiënte en schaalbare data-oplossingen die ondersteuning bieden voor datagestuurde besluitvorming en de bedrijfsvoering.
**Verantwoordelijkheden**:
- **Ontwerp van Data Architectuur**: Ontwerpen en ontwikkelen van robuuste, schaalbare oplossingen die voldoen aan zakelijke vereisten.
- **Data Modellering**: Ontwikkelen van conceptuele, logische en fysieke datamodellen.
- **Ontwerp van Databases**: Implementeren van database schema's die dataopslag en -opvraging optimaliseren.
- **Integratie van Data**: Integreren van data uit diverse bronnen tot een uniform, coherent model.
- **Data Governance**: Instellen van beleid en normen voor datagovernance om kwaliteit, integriteit, privacy en veiligheid van data te waarborgen.
- **Beheer van Metadata**: Beheren van metadata repositories om data-assets, definities en herkomst te catalogiseren.
- **Data Beveiliging**: Implementeren van beveiligingsmaatregelen om gevoelige data te beschermen tegen ongeautoriseerde toegang en bedreigingen.
- **Migratie en Transformatie van Data**: Plannen en uitvoeren van datamigratie
- en transformatie-initiatieven.
- **Optimalisatie van Prestaties**: Optimaliseren van opslag, opvraging en verwerking van data om efficiënte toegang te garanderen.
- **Samenwerking**: Werken met multidisciplinaire teams om de data-architectuur af te stemmen op technische vereisten en bedrijfsbehoeften.
**Vereiste Vaardigheden**:
- Vaardigheid in databasebeheersystemen en data-modelleringshulpmiddelen.
- Sterk begrip van databaseontwerp principes, normalisatietechnieken en queryoptimalisatie.
- Kennis van data-integratietechnieken en concepten voor datawarehousing.
- Vertrouwdheid met big data-technologieën en -platforms.
- Ervaring met cloudgebaseerde data-services.
- Uitstekende analytische en probleemoplossende vaardigheden.
**Opleiding en Ervaring**:
- Bachelor
- of masterdiploma in informatica, informatiesystemen of een verwant veld.
- Bewezen ervaring als data-architect of in een vergelijkbare functie.
- Certificering in data-architectuur of databasemanagement is een pre.
De data architect is van cruciaal belang voor het vormgeven aan het datalandschap en de infrastructuur van de organisatie, wat de basis vormt voor datagestuurde besluitvorming en bedrijfsinnovatie.
