Candidate must be proficient in French or Dutch (Native level) AND have Active knowledge of English, and must be able to work two days per week onsite in Brussels.Role DescriptionAs an Application/Solution Architect, you design secure, modern and future-proof solutions that support a large international organisation operating across multiple countries. You translate complex needs into coherent architectures that align processes, information flows and technology, ensuring continuity, reliability and security.You collaborate closely with business stakeholders, project leads and architects to define key processes, information structures and end-to-end solutions. By applying recognised modelling practices, you help establish a shared architectural language and ensure consistency across teams.You contribute to the organisation's digital transformation by shaping high-level solution designs, supporting secure development practices and guiding delivery teams. You also take an active role in architectural governance and in the modernisation of existing systems.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitecture and Solution LeadershipDesign functional and technical architectures aligned with enterprise standards.Develop architectural views of services, integrations, processes and data flows.Ensure alignment between business needs, security requirements and technical solutions.Process and Service ModellingAnalyse current ("as-is") and target ("to-be") processes and translate them into IT solutions.Produce clear conceptual and technical models to structure complex domains.Collaboration and GouvernanceWork with security architects on DevSecOps practices and secure development.Support architectural standards: development, implementation and evaluation.Present solution proposals to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Project and Product SupportDefine functional and technical scope for delivery teams.Ensure quality, consistency and compliance throughout implementation.Maintain technical documentation and follow up on project progress.Community and CoachingShare best practices and architectural insights across the ICT organisation.Contribute to legacy system modernisation and migration strategies.QualificationsRequiredExperience as an Application or Solution Architect in a large or complex environment.Strong analytical skills with the ability to structure complexity and define priorities.Solid understanding of secure development, DevSecOps and enterprise architecture.Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (PMs, product owners, developers, security, etc.).Hands-on ability to contribute technically when needed.Why join us ?
