As a skilled Azure Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data architectures within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.You will analyze customer data requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions, providing expert advice to customers while ensuring adherence to best practices in Azure.The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration, with a proven track record of designing and architecting platform components to support specific use cases within Azure ecosystems.Your ResponsibilitiesAnalyze customer data requirements and translate them into robust technical solutionsDesign and implement scalable data architectures within the Microsoft Azure ecosystemProvide expert advice to customers, ensuring adherence to best practices in AzureLead data architecture initiatives and mentor junior data engineers and business stakeholdersCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive data solutions aligned with business objectivesDevelop data strategies that support organizational goals and drive innovationManage data projects from conception to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomesEnsure compliance with data governance principles, security protocols, and industry standardsStay updated with the latest developments in Azure technologies and industry trends to enhance data solutionsYour QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field6+ years of experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data integration, with a proven track record of designing and architecting platform components to support specific use cases within Azure ecosystemsProficiency with data-related Azure services such as Data Factory, Data Lake Storage, Synapse, Fabric, and/or DatabricksExperience with security and network security in AzureExperience setting up pipelines in Azure DevOpsUnderstanding of billing methods for Azure resourcesExperience writing ETLs using SQL Python (incl. PySpark)Knowledge and deep understanding of Engineering principles (e.g. ci/CD, unit testing, etc.)Familiarity with data governance capabilities within the Azure ecosystemExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesNice-to-HavesCertified Azure Data Engineer or Azure Solutions Architect ExpertExperience in industrializing APIs on Azure, taking into account the associated requirements such as scaling, security, etc.Knowledge of how AI data products can be built within the Azure ecosystem
