Azure Data Engineer

In eerste instantie leg jij je toe op de ontwikkeling en het beheer van een holistisch Modern Data Platform dat dient te worden gebouwd in de Microsoft Azure Cloud.
Overigens ben jij, in je hoedanigheid van IT Custodian, een sleutelfiguur binnen het "Data Platform"-team: je bent er verantwoordelijk voor de ontwikkeling, de implementatie en de doorgedreven optimalisatie van de Big Data Pipeline die het holistische Modern Data Platform bevat.
In het "Data Platform"-team ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de volgende aspecten:
- Je bent hoofdzakelijk bezig met de verwerking en de transformatie van de generieke gegevens van het platform: je spitst je toe op de dataverzameling, de data-integratie, de data-opslag en de datalogica, op basis van uiteenlopende gegevensbronnen bij de Nationale Loterij.
- Je werkt aan het nieuwe, moderne ontwerp van het Data Platform (Medaillon Design), in nauwe samenwerking met de Data Architect en de verantwoordelijke Solution Designer.
- Je voert data-analyses uit en je creëert modellen. Je werkt samen met de Data Scientists om op grote schaal modellen en algoritmen te ontwikkelen, hetzij voor Machine Learning, hetzij in de context van geavanceerde analyses en "ad hoc"-analyses.
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor de optimalisatie van prestatieproblemen en voor het onderhoud van het platform, om op die manier op de optimale werking ervan te garanderen.
Omdat jij een diploma hebt van Bachelor of Data Science, of Master of Data Science, meer bepaald in een domein dat verband houdt met Big Data. Voorts heb je minstens vijf jaar ervaring met Data Pipelines en met Cloud-technologieën. Bovendien kan je vlotjes overweg met Data Modelling en met de opslag van data.
Omdat jij de volgende technologieën of concepten onder de knie hebt:
- Apache Spark, Python, Notebooks;
- DevOps Azure CI/CD Pipeline;
- Microsoft SQL of DBT;
- Azure Data Platform Stack, en meer bepaald:
- Synapse Analytics;
- Lakehouse;
- Fabrics;
- Semantic Model;
- PBI;
- Je bent gepokt en gemazeld in Cloud Computing, Data Engineering, Big Data Processing en Performance Tuning;
- Azure Data Platform Architecture heeft voor jou geen enkel achterpoortje meer.
