We are searching for a Senior Azure Data Engineer to strengthen our Microsoft Team To join them in working on new upcoming Azure projects.

YOUR JOB

As a Senior Azure Data Engineer at LACO, you'll be responsible for:

  • Designing and implementing cloud solutions that meet the specific needs of an organization.
  • Ensuring that the cloud solutions comply with relevant security and regulatory standards.
  • Staying up to date with the latest cloud technologies and advancements to provide the best possible solutions.
  • Communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, explaining complex technical concepts in an understandable way.
  • Being a true team player, able to rally experts and work collaboratively, sharing your knowledge and passion for BI and AI.
  • Participating in end-to-end projects across various industries and demonstrating leadership skills.

YOUR SKILLS

  • You have a bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience with different data consumption techniques from traditional to advanced analytics and AI perspective (Power BI, Tableau, Machine Learning, etc.).
  • Power BI means more to you than shiny graphs and pie charts.
  • You are willing to dig deep into Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, or Databricks.
  • You have experience in Azure Data Factory and Data Modeling techniques.
  • You are fluent in SQL & Python.
  • You communicate clearly in Dutch and/or French and English (both written and spoken).
  • You can present and defend your solutions in front of clients.
  • You can organize, facilitate, and lead workshops.
  • You have (or aim for) the role-based Microsoft Data certifications or Databricks certifications.

This step also consists of an in-depth interview with a senior manager and an expert consultant, integrating you into the LACO culture and valuing your expertise in depth.
