POSITION SUMMARY The Junior Technical Drafter / Draftsman supports the creative and technical teams by producing accurate and high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings for live entertainment projects. Working closely with designers, technical directors, engineers, and production teams, the role contributes to the development, coordination, and execution of complex scenic, architectural, and technical elements. This position is ideal for a technically skilled and creative professional with a background in architecture, theatre design, or interior design, who demonstrates autonomy, initiative, and a strong interest in emerging technologies and innovative workflows. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Technical drafting & design support Produce precise 2D and 3D technical drawings for scenic, architectural, and technical elements. Translate creative concepts and design intent into clear, buildable technical documentation. Update and maintain drawings throughout all project phases, from concept to fabrication and installation. Prepare technical packages for internal teams, fabricators, and external partners. Collaboration & coordination Work closely with creative, technical, and production teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy. Participate in design reviews and technical coordination meetings. Support technical directors and designers in resolving design and construction challenges. Tools, technology & innovation Use AutoCAD for 2D drafting and 3D Studio Max for 3D modeling and visualization. Contribute to 3D visualization workflows, including basic rendering and spatial studies. Explore and support new technologies such as VR and emerging visualization tools when relevant. Quality, organization & autonomy Ensure drawings meet internal quality standards and technical requirements. Manage assigned tasks with a high level of autonomy and accountability. Take initiative in improving workflows, tools, and technical solutions.
