Master Data Steward

As Product Master Data Steward you are responsible for setting up and maintaining product master data in the central master data systems.

Together with other stewards, you are responsible for maintaining the product data for the production sites of our Plant Based Food Solutions division.

Your responsibilities:

  • Set up and update master data in ERP / PLM so that planning, sales, production, controlling, and all relevant master data for the operational control of their activities. Collecting, checking and co-managing the data collection process so that all information can be processed timely and correctly. Creating articles at various levels (recipe, packaging, ingredients, promotional materials, etc.). Linking components and defining end products, both in terms of composition, product, packaging, sales unit and pallet composition. Detecting non-conformities and taking corrective action.
  • Contact point for assigned product groups and production sites. Independently participate in meetings and projects concerning the assigned product group. Assist the multidisciplinary teams through knowledge in master data. In case of uncertainties, contact the correct persons in the organisation and give feedback. Guarantee the quality of master data by challenging definitions and tackling errors at source. Provide ad-hoc information on Material Master Data.
  • Responsible for managing the portfolio within the assigned product group. Analyses portfolio assigned product group/site based on predefined key elements with concrete actions on delistings and adjustments within SKU management. Continuous tracking of status of actions.
  • Project owner when managing layouts, tool: Webcenter. Creation of projects when layout changes are requested by sales organisations. Setting up of the flow so that the correct approvers, suppliers and sales are addressed. Coordinating projects within the time limit: detecting issues and correcting them.
  • Drawing up indicative quotations of new products. Looking for any analogue references. Compilation of all components needed for quotations: consultation of existing data and requesting new data. This cost price calculation is manual (accurate).

Are you the one we're looking for?

  • You have a bachelor's degree. Working experience in master data maintenance (SAP) is a plus
  • You like to be constantly engaged with data and systems.
  • You are stress-resistant and accurate.
  • You are a team player.
  • You have a fluent knowledge of Dutch and English (oral and written).
  • You have a great system knowledge: SAP, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
