We zijn de onderneming achter sterke merken zoals Foodbag.be (dé Belgische maaltijdbox) en 15gram.be (de populairste kookblog van Vlaanderen). Met een passie voor kwaliteit en gezonde voeding leveren we maaltijdboxen en verse ingrediënten rechtstreeks aan huis. We geloven in duurzaamheid, lokaal geteelde producten en het creëren van heerlijke, voedzame gerechten. Om ons verhaal en onze producten nog beter te delen met de wereld, zijn we op zoek naar een getalenteerde UX/UI Designer om ons IT&Projects team te vervoegen.
Hoe ziet jouw dag eruit als UX/UI Designer?
Als UX/UI Designer bij Smartmat werk je aan het verbeteren van onze digitale producten en gebruikerservaringen. Je bent de schakel tussen onze gebruikers en ons digitale ecosysteem en vertaalt bedrijfsdoelen en gebruikersbehoeften naar creatieve en functionele ontwerpen. Hierbij werk je nauw samen met het Marketing team en andere stakeholders. Een greep uit je dagelijkse taken:
- Onderzoeken van gebruikersbehoeften via interviews, data-analyse en A/B-testen.
- Ontwikkelen van wireframes, prototypen en high-fidelity designs voor web en app.
- Samenwerken met developers om designs technisch haalbaar te maken.
- Waarborgen van consistentie in visuele stijl en gebruiksvriendelijkheid.
- Testen van nieuwe ontwerpen en optimaliseren op basis van gebruikerstesten en klantenfeedback.
- Up-to-date blijven met trends in UX/UI en digitale productontwikkeling.
We zijn op zoek naar een creatieve probleemoplosser met een scherp oog voor detail en een passie voor gebruikerservaring. Dit ben jij:
- Minimaal 2 à 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare UX/UI-rol.
- Sterke vaardigheden in tools zoals Figma, Adobe XD en Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ervaring met user research, usability testing en app design.
- Kennis van front-end principes (HTML/CSS/JavaScript is een plus).
- Een sterk portfolio met focus op gebruiksvriendelijke en visueel aantrekkelijke designs.
- Een teamspeler met goede communicatievaardigheden.
- Ervaring in e-commerce is een plus.
- Geweldig leuke collega's die ook na de werkdag graag eens blijven hangen voor een gezellig drankje.

- 29 verlofdagen (20 wettelijke dagen + 9 ADV-dagen bij een werkweek van 38 uur) om helemaal op te laden.
