Weet jij de digitale ervaring van onze klanten telkens naar een hoger niveau te tillen?

Als UX/UI Designer is het je belangrijkste rol om gebruikersbehoeften te vertalen naar een functioneel en visueel helder ontwerp. Dat doe je aan de hand van aantrekkelijke interfaces voor digitale producten (zoals websites, apps, applicaties en software).

  • Alles begint met luisteren: naar de vragen, problemen en ideeën van klanten, Product Owners, eindgebruikers en developmentteams.
  • Je kan een (beperkte) branding vertalen naar digitale toepassingen, steeds met de nodige aandacht voor toegankelijkheid en gebruiksvriendelijkheid.
  • Je werkt component based (atomic design), en denkt goed na over kleurgebruik, typografie en iconen, steeds met een logische opbouw en uitwerking.
  • Je weet hoe je een merk moet interpreteren: van het logo tot een volledige branding met een volwaardige huisstijlgids.
  • Je bent punctueel, klantgericht en communicatief sterk. Je verdedigt je werk en overtuigt anderen van je onderbouwde designkeuzes.
  • Je toetst je voorstellen af aan de realiteit en werkt samen met developers en andere UX/UI designers om een correct voorstel uit te werken.
  • Je stemt binnen je team regelmatig af met je collega's en bent gestructureerd in je werk en aanpak.

Dankzij je grenzeloze interesse ben je als eerste op de hoogte van nieuwe inzichten en best practices. Collega's weten dan ook dat ze met UX-gerelateerde vragen altijd bij jou kunnen aankloppen.

Je komt terecht binnen het UX & Design team, maar werkt nauw samen met alle Technology teams binnen de campus, waar je met onze interne developers de technische haalbaarheid van je ideeën overlegt.

Bij iO dragen we kennis en kennisdeling hoog in het vaandel. Je leert natuurlijk bij door de projecten die je met je team aanpakt, maar ook daarnaast zijn er oneindig veel groeimogelijkheden. Zo krijg je de ruimte om je persoonlijke groeitraject vorm te geven, maar krijg je ook toegang tot trainingsmomenten en een serieus opleidingsbudget.

Daarom ben jij de perfecte UX/UI Designer

  • Je hebt ervaring in het ontwerpen van digitale interfaces met een focus op UI/UX. Technische kennis van HTML/CSS is een plus.
  • Je bent vertrouwd met grafische programma's zoals Figma, Sketch, Illustrator en Photoshop.
  • Je weet hoe je design systems, brandings en huisstijlen moet opstellen.
  • Je kan conceptueel nadenken en komt zelf met ideeën zonder veel input.
  • Je hebt aandacht voor toegankelijkheid en gebruiksvriendelijkheid.
  • Je spreekt Nederlands en Engels, Frans is een plus.

Op basis van een 40-urige werkweek heb je 20 vakantiedagen en 12 ADV-dagen.
