Indaver Mechelen, Flemish Region, Belgium Financial Director MSWS As Financial Director, you will develop and implement the financial strategy of the international Business Line Municipal Solid Waste Services (BL MSWS). You set and guard the administrative policy within the BL. Furthermore, you are a key driver of the M&A and business development processes of the business line. You support the General Manager MSWS and your MSWS colleagues with hands‑on reporting to keep the business financially healthy, identify potential optimizations, and provide financial and administrative support for new investment projects. The finance managers of the regional MSWS organizations report directly to you. On an operational level, you head the business controllers’ team for the Belgian region. What will be your biggest challenge? As Financial Director and member of the BL MSWS management team, you are responsible for compliant and proactive financial and administrative management of BL MSWS. You are more than just a guardian of the figures: you will be a business partner who understands what drives performance, helps steer the company toward sustainable growth and lead with a sharp eye on cost efficiency. You build relationships with other financial teams within the wider Indaver organization to establish the best forms of collaboration. You embrace guiding financial, administrative, and organizational change processes and are able to inspire and motivate your international team throughout these transitions. How will you make a difference? You hold a master's degree in the field of finance/economy You are familiar with IFRS and competent in corporate governance and tax accounting You have experience in a similar role within an international industrial or technical services context You are assertive and decisive and able to initiate change and address issues in a respectful manner You are fluent in Dutch, English, and knowledge of French and/or German is an asset What can we offer you?
