In Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, we work with more than 300 enthusiastic employees in the field and in the office. Elevators, escalators, and automatic doors are the products we sell, maintain, repair, and modernize.
Our finance and accounting department is looking for an AR accountant to join its team in Zaventem.
Position Summary:
With the help of a colleague, the Accounts Receivable Accountant will be responsible for effectively managing the company's accounts receivable process, monitoring and collecting outstanding customer balances, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, a thorough understanding of accounts receivable practices, and the ability to work with other departments to ensure effective accounts receivable management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's accounts receivable process.
- Monitor and collect outstanding customer balances.
- Maintain accurate financial records.
Qualifications:
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the field of accounts receivable.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and computer tools.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- First experience with SAP.
- Great attention to detail and ability to handle a large number of transactions.
- Good command of Dutch and French. Knowledge of English is considered an asset.
