Scope of the position:
Implement the commercial strategy for the Benelux market related to the different segments and the assigned customer portfolio, to achieve the commercial and GM revenue targets. Take care of the relationship with the customer, analyzing the customer and product needs and stimulating new business opportunities. Close collaboration with the different teams like research and development department, pricing, sourcing and supply chain.
Description of main responsibilities:
- Implement the commercial strategy for the channels and customers of competence based on the guidelines received;
- Manage the relationship and collaboration with the customer effectively and in line with business objectives;
- Collaborate with other Sales Managers to identify and develop technical and commercial synergies;
- Develop and implement account plans;
- Identify the growth levers of the managed client portfolio;
- Organize innovation days with the Research and Development team, marketing and chefs;
- Supervise and study the competition by transmitting to the company any useful information for the business strategy;
- Manage sales forecasts and revenue estimates;
- Systematically interact with Research and Development through the provision of clear inputs and direct collaboration in product development, in compliance with company procedures and processes;
- Contribute to product/process innovation processes;
- Carry out reporting and meetings on-site.
Professional and Personal skills:
- Education: Bachelor/master degree.
- Professional Skills: Excellent communication; Strong analytical skills; Ability to plan and achieve goals; Knowledge of trading techniques; Knowledge of the ingredients and, in general, the range of IRCA products; technical knowledge and significant experience gained in product application.
- Experiences: 10+ years of technical and commercial experience.
- Language Skills: Dutch and English proficiency.
- Behavioral requirements: commercial aptitude, strong communication, ability to understand customer needs; Can build long-lasting relationships; Strong orientation to the result; leadership; problem solving.
- Other: Experience in the B2B field; Experience in the food industry.
