We’re Hiring | Legal Counsel – Northern Europe Location: Brussels | International Scope | Hybrid Work Available Are you a strategic legal professional looking to make a real impact across multiple countries? Groupe Dehon is recruiting a Legal Counsel to support our subsidiaries in Northern Europe (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, and overseas activities). You’ll act as a true Business Partner to our operational leaders, ensuring legal compliance and guiding decision-making across the region. Your Mission Reporting to the Group Legal Department, you will: Provide legal advice to management and operational teams in matters of Business Law Draft, analyze, and negotiate commercial contracts in close collaboration with subsidiary Directors Prevent legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance (including ESG and GDPR) Manage legal files related to contracts, disputes, and regulatory frameworks Keep stakeholders informed and trained on legal topics and new regulations Coordinate with local legal advisors and report activities and risks to the Group Your Profile Master’s degree in Business Law or equivalent Around 7 years’ experience in a similar in-house role, ideally in an industrial and multicultural context Fluent in French and English ; Dutch is a strong asset Solid knowledge of Belgian law and contract law Familiarity with Dutch and German legislation is a plus Experience in compliance topics (IT/cybersecurity, ESG) is a nice-to-have but not the core of the role Autonomous, diplomatic, proactive, and capable of working with a high level of independence while building trusted partnerships across functions Why Join Us Be part of a global industrial group with strong human values Contribute directly to strategic legal decisions and company growth Collaborate with diverse, multicultural teams Work in a flexible hybrid model Travel across Europe and engage with international legal matters Interested?
