Functie omschrijving
Voor onze klant zijn we op zoek naar een sustainability manager in de regio Harelbeke.
Als Manager Sustainability ben je verantwoordelijk voor de strategie op groepsniveau wat betreft Duurzaamheid in de breedste zin.
- Je zorgt ervoor dat alle entiteiten voldoen aan de regelgeving en zet adequate rapportage op.
- Je werkt maatregelen uit in samenwerking met de afdelingen met betrekking tot Environment, Social en Governance aspecten (ESG).
- Je onderzoekt welke initiatieven of programma's interessant zijn om aan deel te nemen of weegt de voor- en nadelen af van de gangbare certificaten die behaald kunnen worden. Je blijft hiervoor de contactpersoon gedurende de duurtijd van het traject en begeleidt eventuele audits.
- Je bent beschikbaar voor projecten zowel in aanbestedings-, ontwerp- als uitvoeringsfase met het nodige advies rond duurzaamheid. Je begeleidt certificatie van producten en gebouwen.
- Je modereert de Directie tot het opstellen van de juiste strategische en operationele doelstellingen.
- Je inspireert en motiveert collega's en begeleidt hen tot een duurzame werkmethode en -ethiek. Je werkt nauw samen met de HR-afdeling voor het uitwerken en bijwerken van de nodige beleidsnota's. Je neemt de bedrijfsprocessen onder de loep en werk samen met de afdeling QHSE rond Quality Assurance. Je stelt een algemeen overzicht op voor rechten en bevoegdheden binnen de entiteiten.
- Je werkt samen met alle afdelingen en rapporteert aan de Chief Technology Officer.
Vereisten
Ben jij onze nieuwe collega?
- Je beschikt over een masterdiploma bij voorkeur in de ingenieursrichting.
- Je hebt relevante ervaring in een industriële omgeving, bij voorkeur in de bouwsector.
- Je ademt duurzaamheid en hecht belang aan deugdelijk bestuur.
- Je bent een motivator en kan een denk- en veranderproces begeleiden bij anderen.
- Je hebt kennis van regulering, eisen, normen en certificaten (bv. CSRD, EU Taxonomy, CO2-Prestatieladder, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EPD's; LCA, BREEAM).
