This hybrid role combines the responsibilities of a program manager, a project manager, and a Cloud Center of Excellence ( CCoE ) leader, with a key focus on infrastructure modernization, cloud strategy , and interdisciplinary leadership. They are responsible for managing high-priority projects and leading a multidisciplinary team in the cloud . Their work directly supports the management, citizen engagement, and modernization of the FPS Foreign Affairs' digital services. Tasks and responsibilities :Program and project management Leading and coordinating infrastructure and digital transformations.Managing high-impact projects, including:Hosting solutions Ensure alignment with strategic objectives, timely delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.Acting as the responsible party for infrastructure programs, combining technical and management expertise. Cloud Excellence Center (CEC) Monitor multi -tenant Azure environments.Leading a team of a cloud architect , DevOps engineers and a FinOps specialist.Define priorities, manage cloud migrations , and support Azure budgeting and reporting .Promote best practices in cloud governance , cost optimization, and innovation. Coordination of infrastructure and data center Manage the daily operation of on- site servers and data center technologies.Facilitate collaboration between infrastructure architects, engineers, and other teams.Lead the problem solving, change management, and strategic planning . Stakeholder engagement and governance Collaborate with business owners, directors and stakeholders at all levels.Representing the FPS Foreign Affairs in the BEGOV Azure community and the working group for the federal cloud .Serve as a single point of contact for assessing federal cloud maturity .Maintain strong relationships with Microsoft and coordinate training and workshops. Strategic and operational leadership Lead purchasing , budget planning and contract management .Maintain partnerships with external technology and service providers.Ensuring quality of delivery and continuous improvement of IT services.
