Product Engineer

In this role, you will act as the central link between our customer, finance, legal, marketing, engineering, design and data teams to ensure the product roadmap reflects real user needs and strategic goals. This includes gathering cross-functional input, conducting research and analysis, shaping priorities and translating them into a clear, actionable backlog for the engineering and design teams. You'll also support testing and ensure solutions are aligned with business value and company strategy.Responsibilities:Customer & Market InsightsAlign with the customer service team to gather recurring customer pain points and feedbackConduct customer and market research to identify trends, needs and opportunitiesData & Business AnalysisDefine and coordinate data requests to inform decisionsWork closely with the data team to prioritize insights that support product decisionsPerform business analysis to articulate the value and impact of potential solutionsProduct Strategy & Backlog ManagementUnderstand the overall company strategy and align the product roadmap accordinglyCollect and prioritize needs from marketing, finance, operations and other departmentsDefine and maintain a high-level, cross-functional product backlogDetermine and communicate the priority of upcoming design needsEngineering & ExecutionAlign the sprint backlog and priorities with the engineering teamWrite high-level product to-dos and collaborate with engineers to refine themEnsure proper end-to-end testing is in place and support in testing product featuresMonitor product quality and identify improvement opportunitiesThis position is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation in the pet food industry and is keen on working in a dynamic, collaborative environment where your work directly contributes to the wellbeing of pets worldwide.
