For the European Commission, we are looking for an Application Support professional: Description of tasks · Receive and log requests and incidents from Member States (Level 1); categorize, prioritize and provide technical support. · Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the application, including software bugs, system errors, and user issues. · Investigate bugs that are reported by multiple users and determine appropriate actions. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Team, Development Teams (Level 3), System Administrators and other stakeholder to resolve infrastructure or software-related issues and implement corrective actions. · Keep Level 1 informed on request status and progress by ensuring timely updates and clear communication throughout the ticket lifecycle. · Document inquiries, issues, and resolutions in our ticketing system, ensuring accurate and thorough records. · Contribute to the development and maintenance of our internal documentation and support materials (Knowledge Base articles, FAQs, etc.) Knowledge and skills Required · A successful experience in Application Support (minimum 2 years). · Proficiency in English (C1 level or higher). · Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts clearly and concisely to non-technical users. · Strong analytical, problem-solving and fast-learning skills. · Customer-focused mindset and a commitment to delivering high-quality service and support. · Strong Team Player.
