We are a value-driven company that places strong emphasis on trust, flexibility, and a healthy work–life balance.The roleWe are looking for a Senior EU Public Affairs Consultant to strengthen our growing team (currently five persons). The successful candidate will work independently with clients, contribute to policy analysis and advocacy strategies, and play an active role in shaping the firm’s further growth. This role is well suited to someone who is curious, self-driven, structured, and comfortable taking ownership of projects, while also being a strong team player in a small and dynamic setting.Key responsibilitiesSupport and lead client accounts, including day-to-day client interaction (account management).Provide strategic advice and design public affairs strategies.Gather intelligence, monitor, analyse, and report on EU policy and regulatory developments.Support clients in their interactions with EU institutions and stakeholders.Draft briefings, position papers, consultation responses, and stakeholder mappings.Supervising junior colleagues, contributing to internal knowledge sharing and team development.Policy focus areasExperience in one or both of the following policy areas is required:Energy and climateIndustrial policy (particularly raw materials)Experience in any of these policy areas is a plus:Environment and sustainabilityDefence and securityMaritimeRequired qualifications3–5 years of professional experience in EU public affairs (in-house or consultancy) or EU institutional policy work in Brussels.Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and a Scandinavian language; knowledge of other European languages is a strong asset.A Master’s degree in political science, economics, European affairs/studies, EU law, or a related field.Demonstrated understanding of the EU decision-making process and the stakeholder landscape, and an established network in Brussels.Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.Excellent time-management skills, can-do-attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.What we offerA key role in a small, but growing team.Significant autonomy and responsibility from day one.Exposure to EU stakeholders and policy discussions.A flexible and trust-based working environment.Office in the heart of the Brussels EU quarterCompetitive salary package with other advantages (including full health insurance).How to applySend your CV and a short motivation letter (maximum 1 page) to noemi@tingvoll.eu by 15 February 2026.We will be interviewing as of receiving the first applications and will look to hire someone who is available to start between March and May.
