You’ll combine your technical knowledge with business insight to deliver tangible results. Every day brings new challenges, from designing data architectures to leading a motivated team of data specialists. A typical day might include: Managing client projects from start to finish and coaching your team to deliver great results. Understanding client needs and designing tailored data solutions that bring measurable business impact.
Building and optimizing data pipelines using tools such as Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL databases, and Databricks. Transforming and modelling data to ensure accuracy, structure, and usability. Delivering clear and meaningful insights through reports, dashboards, and visualizations. Exploring advanced analytics, such as machine learning, to support data‑driven decision‑making.
Setting up governance frameworks that ensure data quality, security, and privacy. Contributing to business development, helping BDO Digital grow by identifying new opportunities and client needs. What do you bring to the table? A master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in data engineering.
Strong technical expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, Databricks, and the Azure Cloud platform. Proficiency in Python (PySpark), SQL, and DAX.
Experience
with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data governance. The ability to coach and motivate others while working independently. Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch or French. A consulting mindset: client‑focused, empathetic, flexible, and solution‑oriented.
