Accountant/Controller

For a company in the industrial sector in Beerse, we're looking for an Accountant - Controller. Responsibilities as Accountant-Controller:Accounting:Process bank statements and payroll entriesPrepare VAT and intra-community VAT filings (for review and submission)Maintain customer and supplier master dataReconcile general ledger accountsSupport timely monthly and annual closings, including accruals and allocationsMonitor depreciation tables, inventory adjustments, and intercompany balancesPrepare audit documentation and liaise with external auditorsAct as backup for finance team members and support ad-hoc finance tasksControlling:Monitor and follow up on accounts receivable collections for EMEA entitiesSupport weekly and monthly management reporting (AR, AP, cash flow, financial results)Assist in budget and forecast preparationPerform variance analyses and highlight risks and improvement opportunitiesIdentify process inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiencyPerform ad-hoc controlling activities when requiredThe ideal profile of the Accountant-Controller:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or a related fieldMinimum 3 years of relevant experienceWorking knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central (Finance)Accurate, proactive, and hands-on working styleWell-organized with the ability to manage priorities independentlyComfortable working in a deadline-driven environmentStrong analytical skills with attention to both overview and detailExcellent communication skills with high ethical and confidentiality standardsStrong knowledge of MS Office, especially ExcelTeam player with the ability to coach and support colleagues on finance-related topicsWhat We OfferAn attractive salary package ( Gross/Month) depending on your experienceA challenging and varied role within an international industrial groupA pleasant, collegial, and professional working environmentOpportunities for learning, growth, and increased responsibilityFlexible working arrangements where possible Interested?
