Voor een toonaangevend familiebedrijf in de bouwsector met affiniteit voor duurzaamheid en circulariteit zijn wij op zoek naar een Financial Controller In deze rol draag je actief bij aan de ontwikkeling van de financiële strategie, terwijl je fungeert als brug tussen de accountants en het controllingteam.
Jouw taken:
- Opmaak en onderhoud van financiële rapportering in verschillende systemen zoals Excel, BI waarbij je zorgt voor nauwkeurigheid en consistentie;
- Ondersteunen van maand- en jaarafsluitingen;
- Controle van boekhoudkundige afsluiten, en assistentie bij interne en externe audits;
- Analyse en opmaak van budgetten en kostenstromen;
- Actief verbanden leggen en identificeren van oorzaken, in samenwerking met de business;
- Optimaliseren van financiële processen, zoals ERP-implementaties en digitaliseringstrajecten van het bestaande proces in samenwerking met de verschillende afdelingen;
- Ondersteuning van het accounting team bij het verbeteren van de bestaande boekhoudprocessen. Dit biedt jou de kans om de fundamenten van de financiële flow binnen de verschillende entiteiten volledig te doorgronden en hierop impact te maken
Jouw profiel
Must-haves:
- Bachelor- of masterdiploma in een financiële richting (bv. Accountancy, Financiën, Bedrijfsmanagement, Economie);
- Minstens 3 jaar ervaring in een financiële/accounting functie;
- Sterke kennis van Excel en affiniteit met rapporterings- en ERP-systemen;
- Ervaring met Belgian GAAP en gedegen accounting kennis (AP, AR, GL);
- Perfecte kennis van het Nederlands, aangevuld met kennis van Frans en Engels;
- Communicatief sterk: je bent in staat om cijfers te vertalen naar business inzichten en de business helpen bij het sturen van hun activiteiten.
Nice-to-haves:
- Ervaring als controller is een pluspunt, maar geen vereiste;
- Interesse in de bouwsector en affiniteit met duurzaamheid;
- Een proactieve en ondernemende houding waardoor je snel de mogelijkheid tot verbeteringen achterhaald en het initiatief neemt om deze door te voeren;
- Zelfstandige teamplayer: je werkt graag samen, communiceert vlot met verschillende teams, maar functioneert ook zelfstandig.
