Proclinical is seeking an Automation Engineer with expertise in Siemens PCS 7 to join a biomanufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing automation systems that support the production of biologics and advanced medicines. This position requires a strong focus on collaboration, compliance, and technical excellence. Responsibilities: Lead PCS 7 automation projects from concept through commissioning within biomanufacturing operations. Design and configure PCS 7 systems, including AS-OS engineering, SFC types, and Logic Matrix interlocks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as process engineers, IT, and validation to ensure seamless system integration. Ensure compliance with GMP, GAMP 5, and quality standards. Troubleshoot and optimize automation systems to enhance reliability and performance. Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers on PCS 7 best practices and system architecture. Key Skills and Requirements: Background in Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Proficiency in Siemens PCS 7, including AS-OS engineering, SFC, CMT, and Logic Matrix. Experience with batch process automation, ideally in biopharma or chemical industries. Familiarity with GMP, GAMP 5, and validation protocols. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively. Fluency in English; knowledge of French or Dutch is a plus.
