Product Owner / Project Manager – Freelance – Brussels Microsoft environment - M365 - Azure DevOps A major company and technology organisation based in Brussels is looking for an experienced Product Owner / Project Manager on a freelance basis to support high-impact digital and technology initiatives. This role sits at the crossroads of business, technology, and delivery, within a complex and fast-moving environment. Product Owner / Project Manager – Role Overview As Product Owner / Project Manager, you will act as the central coordination point between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners. You will ensure clarity of vision, prioritisation, and delivery across multiple initiatives. Product Owner / Project Manager – Key Responsibilities As Product Owner / Project Manager, you will: Define and maintain a clear product and project vision aligned with business objectives Manage and prioritise the backlog, ensuring features and tasks are clearly defined and ready for implementation Translate business needs into structured, actionable deliverables for technical teams Coordinate development, infrastructure, and external partners across different work streams Validate deliverables and ensure quality standards before acceptance Monitor progress, risks, and dependencies, adjusting priorities when needed Facilitate communication and alignment between stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle Product Owner / Project Manager – Required Profile The ideal Product Owner / Project Manager has: Proven experience as a Product Owner, Project Manager, Scrum Master, or similar delivery role Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid delivery models Experience working with multidisciplinary technical teams Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills A structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong organisational skills Comfort working in a freelance setup with delivery autonomy Product Owner / Project Manager – Contract & Location Freelance contract Brussels area Hybrid collaboration environment Long-term mission potential depending on project evolution Product Owner / Project Manager – Why This Opportunity Central role in delivering strategic digital and technology initiatives Exposure to complex projects within a large technology environment High level of autonomy and responsibility Collaboration with experienced technical and business stakeholders
