Functieomschrijving As Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding sales activities, identifying new business opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and collaborating with internal and external sales teams to achieve sales targets.
  • You maximize the sales potential of the assigned customer portfolio in line with customer categorization and commercial strategy.
  • You establish selected customer partnerships with B2B dealers, and you leverage their strategic wholesale partner to expand distribution and drive sales.
  • You educate and train customers and end-users on our premium products, including supporting trade shows.
  • You gather insights on market trends, distribution opportunities, competition, and product development opportunities, and share them within the organization.
  • You will leverage internal synergies to strengthen other brands, such as Snickers Workwear, and expand distribution.
  • You will report directly to the Director Hardware Europe & Export.
Profiel
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the tools industry or construction materials or technical goods.
  • You possess a strong "Hunter" mentality, with a focus on identifying and expanding new distribution opportunities to drive growth.
  • You demonstrate strong negotiation and communication skills and can convince customers of the benefits of the products. You are fluent in Dutch, English, and French.
  • You are able to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
  • You have excellent organizational and planning skills and are able to prioritize effectively.
  • You have experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • You are willing to travel within Belgium and the north of France.
