As a Data Engineer, your mission would include: Leading the creation of a new data platform from scratch, ensuring it's scalable, efficient, and built to provide actionable insights for future marketing campaigns. Collaborating closely with the client's marketing and business teams to understand data requirements and provide structured, accessible, and actionable data for campaign optimization. Building and maintaining data pipelines that integrate various data sources and systems to gather data for analytics. Taking ownership of the platform and the ongoing data engineering needs to ensure it continues to evolve and support the company's business objectives. Implementing best practices for data modeling, governance, and security to ensure the platform is reliable and scalable. Optimizing the platform for performance, troubleshooting, and improving processes to enhance data quality and accessibility for stakeholders. Providing insights and recommendations based on data, helping the company use its data effectively for future campaigns and decision-making. You're a step closer to joining our team if you bring: Background: A Master's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on building and maintaining data platforms or similar large-scale projects. Previous experience in client-facing roles and consulting is a plus. Technical Skills: Strong experience with AWS and Azure, ideally both. Solid experience in building data pipelines using modern tools and technologies. SQL expertise (including optimization and complex queries). Experience with data modeling and data architecture best practices. Familiarity with DevOps practices for data engineering, including version control and CI/CD workflows. Experience with data orchestration tools like Airflow or similar. Knowledge of ETL processes and integrating data from various sources (cloud, on-premise, etc.). Soft Skills: Ability to manage stakeholders and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical teams. A problem-solver with a "can-do" attitude and a hacker mentality. Highly curious and always eager to improve and learn. Strong ability to work independently and drive projects from intake to delivery.
