Role Overview We are looking for a Senior Data Solution Architect to support a large-scale digital transformation program focused on modernizing enterprise data platforms and enabling advanced analytics and AI use cases. The role involves designing robust, secure, and scalable data architectures that transform complex data flows into high-value data products. Key Responsibilities Enterprise Data Architecture & Governance Design and support an enterprise-wide data governance framework covering data quality, lineage, classification, and compliance Define and maintain architecture standards, best practices, and reference models and ensure alignment across teams Data Platform & Data Products Design, modernize, and evolve Enterprise Data Platforms on Microsoft Azure Convert raw, structured, and unstructured data into scalable data products Own end-to-end solution design: data ingestion, processing, modeling, and visualization AI, LLM & Advanced Analytics Prepare data platforms for AI-native architectures, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Select, integrate, and support Large Language Models (LLMs) and vector databases Implement solutions for unstructured data processing and automated classification (documents, emails, etc.) System Integration Integrate Azure-based data platforms with enterprise systems and SaaS solutions, including: SAP S/4HANA / Data Sphere SAP SuccessFactors IBM AS400 IBM Maximo Power BI and SharePoint Advisory & Collaboration Act as a technical advisor to business and IT stakeholders Translate business needs into future-proof technical architectures Work within an Agile SAFe environment and manage overlapping priorities Security & Quality Apply Security by Design principles Ensure data platforms and development processes meet required security standards Contribute to test automation and continuous quality improvement Required Skills & Experience Technical Expertise 5+ years of experience designing Enterprise Data Platforms 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Azure Cloud Platform Strong experience with Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, dbt, Databricks Lakeflow Proficiency in Python Experience with Sparx Enterprise Architect is a plus Data Governance & Architecture Experience with data cataloging and classification tools such as: Microsoft Purview Collibra Informatica dScribe AI & Data Engineering Solid understanding of AI and LLM architecture requirements, including RAG Experience preparing data for advanced analytics and AI workloads Communication & Ways of Working Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills Ability to collaborate across departments Experience working in Agile / SAFe environments Languages Dutch: Native or bilingual proficiency (mandatory) English: Nice to have Seniority Level Senior / Expert
