By providing verified battery certificates, Wattloop facilitates confident repair, repurposing, and resale of EV batteries, significantly impacting the sustainability of the European battery value chain.Role DescriptionWattloop is seeking a dedicated full stack Python Developer for a full-time, hybrid (min 3 days / week in the office) position based in Ghent. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our full diagnostics stack.device level – CAN communication on Raspberry Pi-based hardware, speaking directly with batteries in the fieldcore logic: python services handling automotive diagnostics and MQTTbackend: python APIsfrontend: make beautiful visualisations of the battery data we extractdevops: Docker, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automationWho you areSelf starter who takes real ownershipCurious about how and why things workEager to make a difference for a more circular (battery) economyYou enjoy the speed and chaos of an early-stage startupYou have good craicQualificationsSolid Python skills (2+ years of experience)Comfortable with backend developmentWilling to learn frontend basicsBonus: experience with CAN bus, automotive protocols, or embedded systemsInterested?
