Belfius Insurance is een innovatieve verzekeringsmaatschappij met een duidelijke groeistrategie. Het Performance Management Monitoring team heeft tot taak de business te helpen door voortdurende ondersteuning te bieden aan de operationele afdelingen non-Life en op het vlak van de KPI-rapportering en het capaciteitsbeheer. Het voert analyses uit om de operationele efficiëntie te vergroten en om de ontwikkeling van de schadekosten te monitoren. Dit team geeft advies om zowel de schadekosten als de operationele kosten onder controle te houden.
De job in een notendop
Als Senior Performance Analyst ziet je takenpakket er als volgt uit:
- Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het voorbereiden en toelichten van juiste en relevante informatie, de monitoring van de verzekeringsportefeuille non-Life, de rentabiliteit van deze portefeuille, de ontwikkeling van de schadekosten en de operationele prestaties van de afdeling.
- Je biedt voortdurend ondersteuning aan het topmanagement door het ontwikkelen van KPI's en strategische rapporten op commercieel en operationeel vlak en inzake rentabiliteit. Je formuleert aanbevelingen voor het senior management en de Head of Non-life om te helpen bij het aansturen van de afdeling.
- Je voert zelfstandig gedetailleerde analyses uit op diverse aspecten van de prestaties van de afdeling Non-Life, zoals churn, customer lifetime value, inflation, process analysis...
- Je houdt toezicht op het werk van de junior collega's in de functie.
- Je legt vlot contacten met interne medewerkers op alle niveaus van de organisatie; operationele managers, productmanagers, executive management, non-life financiële actuariële experts, en pricing-actuarissen.

Al kan je er bij ons wel één worden. Bij ons mag je volop je vleugels uitslaan indien je voldoet aan de volgende voorwaarden:
- Je beschikt over degelijke ervaring bij het toepassen van analytische en statistische technieken om operationele uitdagingen aan te gaan.
- Je deed praktische ervaring op met data mining en dashboarding; ervaring met SAS is een pluspunt.
- Je hebt ervaring met het beheren van end-to-end-dataprojecten, van het omschrijven van de behoeften van het bedrijf tot de uitrol; ervaring met machine learning-technieken en data exploration-processen is een pluspunt.
- Je hebt ervaring op het gebied van BOAR-verzekeringen.
- Je hebt uitstekende communicatieve vaardigheden en bent in staat om treffende uiteenzettingen te geven die verandering bevorderen en je bent in staat complexe informatie toe te lichten voor een niet-technisch onderlegd publiek.
- Je bent business-gericht, hebt een open geest en kan autonoom werken.
- Je bent een teamspeler en je kan samenwerken met diverse afdelingen (Finance, Operations).
- Je behaalde een universitair diploma in een economische of wiskundige richting en/of je kan een gelijkwaardige ervaring voorleggen.
- Je hebt een functionele kennis van het Engels en kennis van het Nederlands en/of Frans.
