In order to support the growth of our Finance Department, we are currently looking for a Consolidation Supervisor to join our Team.

Responsibilities
  • You are part of the Finance department and report directly to the Head of Consolidation & Reporting.
  • You have a central role within the team and are responsible for collecting data from our affiliates in Africa. You also play a very active role in analyzing monthly reports, explaining gaps, management KPIs and annual budgets together with country controllers.
  • You prepare consolidated packages for budgets and forecasts.
  • You manage Interco's and the Reconciliation of positions in collaboration with counterparties (follow up and corrective actions if needed).
  • You provide ad hoc consolidation of affiliates data.
  • You manage consolidation in line with monthly consolidation calendar.
  • You are in charge of monthly consolidated reporting of SMT Africa as well as monthly analysis to provide to the Management committee.
  • You actively coordinate annual audit preparation and provide materials for annual closing exercise.
  • You participate in the continuous improvement of processes, documentation and management control of all activities of SMT Africa.
Profile
  • You hold a university degree within Finance/Accounting/Audit.
  • You already have a minimum of 7 years' professional experience as auditor, financial analyst, business analyst or controller.
  • You have a first experience working within a Group with Interco's.
  • Experience with IFRS, BEGAAP or any consolidation tool is nice to have.
  • You are fluent in French and English.
  • You have good working knowledge of MS Office suite and Excel has no secrets for you.
  • You are able to work independently but you have a team spirit.
  • You have excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • You are rigorous, persistent and flexible.
  • You are passionate about Africa's development.
