Solar Sales Director – Solar Distribution (Benelux) Are you a strategic commercial leader with a background in Solar Distribution or Electrical Wholesale? Do you have a proven track record of managing a P&L and leading high-performing sales teams within Renewable Energy? Are you looking for full autonomy to define the strategy for a market leader growing through organic success and M&A? We are searching for a Solar Sales Director to take full ownership of our Belgian and Benelux profit centres. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead the region’s commercial strategy, managing field sales, internal sales, and technical support teams to secure long-term, profitable growth. Full P&L Responsibility: You will be the ultimate owner of the region's profitability, overseeing financial performance, margin optimization, and operational excellence. Market Impact: Lead a rapidly expanding business at the forefront of the energy transition, driving innovation in Photovoltaic (PV), Energy Storage, and EV Charging technology. Team Development: Mentor and lead a comprehensive team (Field Sales, Internal Sales, and Technical Support), fostering a high-performance culture. The successful Solar Sales Director be responsible for: Commercial Strategy: Design and implement the annual sales budget and commercial roadmap to increase market share across residential and C&I installer networks. Team Management: Hire, develop, and lead a multilingual commercial team, setting clear KPIs and ensuring alignment with group objectives. Key Account Management: Directly negotiate framework agreements with large buying groups, key installers, and strategic distribution partners. Market Intelligence: Analyse competitor activity, technological trends (PV, Batteries), and regulatory changes to keep the business ahead of the curve. Operational Excellence: Collaborate with Marketing, Procurement, and Finance to optimize stock levels, pricing policies, and customer satisfaction. The Successful Solar Sales Director will have: Industry Experience: Extensive management experience in B2B Professional Distribution, specifically within Solar PV, Electrical Wholesale, HVAC, or Construction Materials. Commercial DNA: A proven track record of managing a Profit & Loss (P&L) centre or Business Unit, with strong skills in margin management and negotiation. Leadership: Experience managing diverse teams (Sales, Technical, Support) and a natural ability to inspire and drive performance. Network: In-depth knowledge of the Belgian/Benelux energy market, including key installers and distribution players. Languages: You must be fluent in French and Dutch/Flemish (Bilingual), plus a strong command of English for group-level reporting.
