Core responsibilities Be responsible for the restaurants service, both hands‑on and in a supervisory role. Guide our customers by explaining our meals and restaurants philosophy. Support and mentor the Front of House staff, ensuring their growth and development within the team. Manage phone calls and chat messages to support potential customers in reaching us. Ensure smooth daily operations by collaborating with the kitchen team. Keep the dining room clean and tidy, to offer a cozy and welcoming environment. Lead and/or conduct free food sampling, to engage and attract restaurant clients. Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation regulations, keeping the dining room safe and compliant. Occasionally deliver our proprietary plant‑based meat to our client restaurants in Antwerp. If desired, you will have the opportunity to: Propose and organize initiatives for themed events in the restaurant. Propose and test new ideas that enhance the dining room's workflow and service quality. Contribute to content creation for our online presence in ideation, definition and execution. Contribute to menu development by bringing creative, actionable drinks or recipe ideas to life. Your expertise 2+ years of experience as Waiter, Head Waiter, or in a similar role. You are eligible to legally work in Antwerp. You have sharp attention to detail while keeping the bigger picture in mind. You have the enthusiasm to thrive in a startup setting, where flexibility and adaptability are key. You have a collaborative mindset and are willing to work as a part of a team. You have the ability to balance hard work with a sense of fun, knowing when to push and to enjoy the moment. You are genuinely interested in exploring and evolving within the role.
