About the JobWhat will you do?As a Quality Engineer, you play a key role in ensuring and improving our quality processes. You are the point of contact for internal and external audits, guide complaint handling, and support the further development of our integrated management system. You combine an analytical mindset with a hands-on mentality and inspire colleagues to work with a strong focus on quality.Your tasks include:Contributing to the development, implementation, and updating of the integrated management system.Correct implementation and follow-up of quality assurance systems in line with various ISO accreditations.Assisting in the development and implementation of QA/QC systems and procedures for the different production sites.Acting as point of contact for customer questions related to quality.Performing internal audits and providing support during supplier audits and inspections.Acting as contact person and providing support during customer and external audits.Authorized to stop product release when non-conformities are identified.Administrative handling of actions and events in the relevant systems.Handling and follow-up of complaints and coordinating improvement actions.Monitoring and evaluating corrective and preventive actions.Collaborating with other departments to implement improvements.Assisting in drafting and updating various risk analyses.Maintaining good contact with our operators to gather information.Supporting other departments with documentation and actions.What do you bring?Bachelor’s degree (preferably in chemistry).Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in quality.Strong communication skills in Dutch and English; knowledge of French and German is a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Stress-resistant, flexible, and willing to make short international trips.Familiar with complaint handling (8D), problem-solving techniques, SPC.Able to work independently, accurately, and communicate diplomatically.Hands-on, capable of working both administratively and operationally.Knowledge of Statistical Process Control and Power BI is a plus.
