  • Analyze the current Data Warehouse and Data Hub from both a business and data perspective (processes, information flows, "As-Is" architecture).
  • Define the future ("To-Be") enterprise data model and the target Data Warehouse/Lakehouse architecture.
  • Design dimensional models (Kimball) and/or Corporate Information Factory (Inmon), star schemas, conformed dimensions, and data marts.
  • Define the Lakehouse architecture in Microsoft Fabric, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers on Delta Lake.
  • Design the transition strategy and migration roadmap from current solutions to the future platform.
  • Identify opportunities for simplification, harmonization, and standardization of data structures and services.
  • Support the definition of the future service offering, governance model, and cost model for the Data Hub.
  • Produce business, functional, and data architecture documentation.
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders and knowledge transfer activities.

Required profile (minimum requirements)

Business analysis:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst on enterprise data or information management projects.
  • Solid experience in business process analysis and requirements engineering.
  • Experience facilitating workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

Data architecture and modeling:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data modeling, and data warehouse design.
  • Strong knowledge of Kimball (dimensional modeling) and Inmon (Corporate Information Factory) methodologies.
  • Experience in conceptual, logical, and physical modeling; data mapping and lineage; master data management (MDM) and metadata.
  • Experience designing Lakehouse architectures, ideally with Microsoft Fabric and Delta Lake (Bronze/Silver/Gold layers).
  • Experience with ELT/ETL patterns and migration from traditional data warehouses to cloud platforms.

Transformation and governance:

  • Experience in legacy platform analysis, migration roadmaps, gap analysis, and platform consolidation.
  • Experience defining future operating models, service catalogs, and business cases.

Certifications (desirable, not mandatory):

  • CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or equivalent.
  • TOGAF Foundation or Certified.
  • DAMA CDMP (Certified Data Management Professional).
