We require Electrical Technicians to join our team preferably with petrochemical experience onshore and ability to carry out instrument testing, commissioning and work as part of a team in an international multi discipline team.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures maintenance and provides testing of equipment as needed.
  • Monitors and records all key operational parameters.
  • Reports activities that could impact the safe operation of processes and/or systems, including potential process safety and operational optimisation issues.
  • Maintaining and promoting a high safety culture when working in the construction phase.
  • Provide review of SOP procedures and participate in Project Commissioning/Start-Up as part of Operations Team or Commissioning Team as required.
  • Complete testing of commissioning procedures, punch listing and handing over equipment.
  • Complete walk down of all developed maintenance procedures to ensure the data entered is as accurate as possible.

Essential Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of permit to work, operations integrity, planning and risk assessments.
  • Experience in performance improvement programmes.
  • Experience in working with vendors and performance feedback.
  • Experience working in gas, oil or petrochemical processing plant.
  • Demonstrated ability troubleshooting within discipline.
  • Willingness to work at heights or in confined areas.
  • Ability to work in plant locations that may be remote (on/offshore) or require special transportation requirements (e.g. helicopter, marine vessels, rotational work, etc.).
  • Ability to successfully complete a fitness for duty assessment.
  • COMPEX 01-04.
  • Dutch VCA & NEN3140 are advantageous.
