QC Supervisor Location: Antwerp/Brussels Salary: Up to €7,000 Role: On site/Hybrid Your Role As Lab Supervisor, you are responsible for the daily management and coordination of the Quality Control lab. You oversee the Quality Control processes in the lab and production to ensure our product quality is guaranteed, timely action is taken in case of deviations, and the final product can be delivered on time to the customer. You closely monitor the correct execution of all lab analyses. Tasks and Responsibilities You are responsible for validating the QC results delivered by the QC lab. You are the first point of contact for colleagues from other departments if there are questions regarding Quality Control. You provide support to other departments regarding the preparation and review of documents in the management system. You are responsible for monitoring all QC processes so that the quality of the final product and the applied processes are guaranteed to meet customer expectations and requirements. You are a driving force for promoting QESH & I-Cube awareness among employees. You strive for a mindset of Continuous Improvement (5S, etc.). You provide training programs for new lab employees. As Lab Supervisor, you give regular feedback and organize the annual evaluation interviews with the lab staff. You promote and convey safety and environmental awareness. You pursue Continuous Improvement. You correctly perform specific tasks assigned by the direct supervisor. Profile Preferably, you have a degree in a chemical field. Bachelor, master, or other relevant diploma is welcome. More than the diploma, your knowledge is important to. You have proven experience as a Lab Supervisor, having managed a team of laboratory technicians. You have experience in training and onboarding new team members, conducting performance reviews and evaluations. Preparing work schedules is also part of your responsibilities. Preferably, you have relevant experience working in quality control within a lab environment. Experience in a (chemical) production company is an asset. You have a strong sense of responsibility and like to take initiative. You enjoy learning and are punctual. You like to lead by example. You have a mature appearance, are straightforward in your communication, and like to work efficiently. You are "safety minded," meaning you follow all safety rules correctly and also promote them to others. You aim to continuously improve. When it comes to quality and work processes, you genuinely believe in Continuous Improvement.
