What you will do : Project & role descriptionWe are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Power BI developer to join this European CDO digital team for a temporary assignment to support several key reporting initiatives within our manufacturing operations. The candidate will join a small data team (Data Architect + data engineer) and is expected to take ownership of the reporting and dashboarding layer to build. Report will be build agile in a constant exchange with the business stakeholders.The assignment includes two main focus areas:1. Manufacturing & operational productivity Reporting - Develop leadership dashboards to monitor productivity performance (KPIs) across our manufacturing installations and locations, in multiple time dimensions.2. CO2 & Energy Reporting - Support CTO team experts with data analysis and reporting on energy usage and emissions.All data will reside on the AM operational data lakeResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will be exposed to these key responsibilities during this mission:Design and implement Power BI semantic models aligned with business logicDevelop interactive dashboards and reports based on stakeholder needsTranslate business requirements into clear KPIs and visualizationsCollaborate with the data team to ensure data quality and performanceWork independently and proactively with (business) stakeholders, being in constant dialog to shape and finetune reports according to their needsYour profileTechnical profile:Strong experience in Power BI, including Power Query, Data modeling and DAXSolid understanding of data visualization best practicesFamiliarity with modern data lake concepts built on Microsoft technologies (Azure Data Lake Storage, Fabric, Databricks, SQL Services, etc)Ability to work autonomously and manage stakeholder expectationsExperience with Manufacturing data and/or CO2/energy reporting is a strong plusUsed to work in Agile or iterative development environmentsFluent in English; Dutch is a plusSocial profile:Hands-onCan work autonomouslyBusiness minded, open to think with and for business stakeholdersPragmatic & result drivenStart date: ASAPDuration & conditionsShort duration : expected 3 to 6 months ; start asps or the latest 01/10/2025Working from Home : 3 days in the office, 2 days max allowed from homeLocation: Ghent
