<p><p>A leading iGaming company based in Europe is seeking an experienced <b>Head of Mobile Engineering </b> to lead and scale its mobile development function. This is a senior, hands‑on leadership role responsible for technical direction, team growth, and the long‑term mobile strategy across iOS and Android platforms. </p><p>The successful candidate will manage a distributed team of eight mobile engineers and will play a critical role in centralising the company’s mobile applications into a <b>React Native‑first architecture </b>. </p><h3>Key Responsibilities </h3><ul><li>Provide strategic and technical leadership for the mobile engineering function </li><li>Line‑manage and mentor a team of approximately eight mobile engineers </li><li>Lead the transition from a mixed native iOS, Android, and React Native setup to a <b>fully centralised React Native codebase </b> </li><li>Define and execute the long‑term mobile technology roadmap </li><li>Drive best practices in mobile engineering, performance, security, and scalability </li><li>Work closely with Product, Design, Backend, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality mobile experiences </li><li>Recruit, grow, and develop high‑performing mobile engineering teams </li><li>Ensure delivery of mobile products in line with regulatory, compliance, and iGaming standards </li><li>Own architectural decisions and contribute hands‑on where required </li> </ul><h3>Required Experience & Skills </h3><ul><li>Proven experience in a <b>Head of Mobile, Mobile Engineering Manager, or similar senior leadership role </b> </li><li>Strong background in <b>growing, scaling, and managing mobile engineering teams </b> </li><li>Deep technical expertise in <b>React Native </b>, with prior experience consolidating or migrating mobile platforms </li><li>Solid understanding of <b>native iOS (Swift/Objective‑C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) </b> development </li><li>Experience working within <b>iGaming, gaming, fintech, or other high‑scale consumer mobile environments </b> </li><li>Strong architectural, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills </li><li>Comfortable working in fully remote, distributed teams </li><li>Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities </li> </ul><h3>Nice to Have </h3><ul><li>Prior experience leading long‑term platform migrations </li><li>Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications </li><li>Experience working in regulated industries </li> </ul><h3>What’s Offered </h3><ul><li>Long‑term contract opportunity </li><li>Fully remote working environment across Europe </li><li>High level of autonomy and ownership </li><li>Opportunity to define and lead the mobile strategy for a growing iGaming business </li> </ul> </p> #J-18808-Ljbffr
