AFIX Group is een Belgische onderneming actief in de productie, verkoop en verhuur van stellingmateriaal. De groep kent een sterke groei en heeft in de voorbije jaren meer dan 10 vestigingen geopend waaronder productievestigingen in Nederland en Turkije. AFIX Group verkoopt in méér dan 20 landen en ze hebben collega's in o.a. Nederland, Frankrijk, Verenigd Koninkrijk, Marokko, en Turkije. Als gevolg van hun expansiestrategie, bouwen ze op het hoofdkantoor in Aalter een corporate team uit dat vanuit verschillende kennisdomeinen het groeitraject zal vormgeven. Om dit team te versterken zijn ze op zoek naar een Application Engineer Steigerbouw.
Als Application Engineer ontwikkel je je tot specialist en centraal aanspreekpunt voor de technische toepasbaarheid van de producten in steiger- en podiumstructuren. Je ondersteunt de ontwikkelingsafdeling bij het optimaliseren van het product gamma. Je werkt samen met klanten, verkoopkantoren en stabiliteitsingenieurs om technische projecten te bestuderen en uit te voeren. Je rapporteert rechtstreeks aan de CTO en speelt een cruciale rol in het ondersteunen van deze groeiende organisatie.
Verantwoordelijkheden:
- Ondersteunen van de R&D afdeling m.b.t. optimalisatie van steigeronderdelen en ontwikkeling van nieuwe oplossingen.
- Belastbaarheid van producten en standaard oplossingen bepalen.
- Ondersteunen van de verkoopafdelingen door advies te geven en teken- en berekeningswerk te plannen, op te volgen en te rapporteren.
- Aansturen van de projectdesign & engineering afdeling in Turkije.
- Af en toe zelf tekenen en uitvoeren/rapporteren van sterkte- en stabiliteitsberekeningen.
- Sporadisch bezoeken van werven en klanten.
- Opstellen en onderhouden van technische productdocumentatie en installatiehandleidingen.
- Opleiden van collega's en klanten over product, berekeningssoftware en steigerinstallatie.
- Continu verbeteren van teken- en berekeningsmethodes, processen, technische documentatie.
Vereisten:
- Master in bouwkunde, architectuur, elektromechanica of andere technische richting.
- Een aantal jaar ervaring in een soortgelijke functie.
- Ervaring met projecten in de steigerwereld is uiteraard een plus maar geen must.
- Kennis van teken- en berekeningssoftware (bij voorkeur Autocad en SCIA Engineer maar kan intern aangeleerd worden).
- Talenkennis: je plan kunnen trekken in Nederlands, Engels, Frans is een vereiste (Duits is een plus).
- Uitstekende technische expertise en analytische vaardigheden.
- Sterke communicatieve vaardigheden en klantgerichtheid.
- Nauwkeurigheid en stressbestendigheid.
- Zelfstandig kunnen werken.
- Bereidheid tot occasioneel reizen (maximaal 10%).
