Als Category Manager binnen ons dynamische team ben jij de visionair die de koers bepaalt en de strategie vormgeeft voor jouw toegewezen productcategorieën in onze bruisende winkels. Deze rol biedt een unieke kans om jouw stempel te drukken op het succes van ons bedrijf.
Job Description:

  1. Marktexpertise ontwikkelen: Je verkrijgt een diepgaand begrip van de huidige markt en anticipeert op toekomstige trends door bezoeken aan onze winkels, beurzen, leveranciers, en het nauwlettend volgen van concurrenten.

  2. Innovatie en benchmarking: Je blijft voortdurend op de hoogte van markttendensen en identificeert kansen door benchmarking en innovaties te volgen.

  3. Samenwerking en kennisdeling: Organiseren van werkgroepen met de winkels om inzichten te delen, af te stemmen en te leren van hun ervaringen.

  4. Strategische schappenplanning: Opstellen van schappenplannen gebaseerd op interne en externe analyses in samenwerking met het schappenplanteam.

  5. Communicatie en promotieplanning: Ontwikkelen van een uitgebreid communicatie- en promotieplan voor jouw productcategorieën in samenwerking met het Marketing team, van concept tot evaluatie.

  6. Merkuitbouw: Verantwoordelijkheid voor het versterken van het Aveve-merk binnen jouw categorie, inclusief het briefen en opvolgen van nieuwe verpakkingsontwerpen.

  7. Teamspeler: Je maakt deel uit van een dynamisch team van 8 Category Managers en rapporteert aan de Head of Category Management.

  8. Optimalisatie van assortiment: Streven naar het ideale assortiment, beheren van prijs- en margebeleid in lijn met de marktsituatie.

  9. Data-analyse: Analyseren van klantengegevens, verkoopcijfers, klantenonderzoek en externe marktgegevens om opportuniteiten te identificeren.

  10. Strategische partnerships: In nauwe samenwerking met de Category Buyer, opzetten van strategische partnerships met leveranciers om de omzet en het rendement te maximaliseren.

  11. Opleidingen en communicatie: Verzorgen van opleidingen voor winkelmedewerkers en zorgen voor goede communicatie tijdens interne beurzen.

Candidate Profile:
  1. Je hebt een bachelor- of masterdiploma met minstens 3 jaar ervaring in een vergelijkbare functie in de retailsector.
  2. Gedegen ervaring in category management en een hands-on mentaliteit.
  3. Initiatiefrijk, zelfstandig, en sterke communicatieve vaardigheden.
  4. Naast het Nederlands beheers je ook Engels en bij voorkeur Frans.
