Purpose of Job: Asset management for Beacon assets throughout the life cycle Job Description: Manage, at a working level, workshops and suppliers for maintenance delivery and provide co-ordination for technical and supply problems Delivery of asset inspection process and undertake detailed asset inspections particularly during heavy maintenance Co-ordination and long-term planning of heavy maintenance and modifications On-site management of small-scale engineering projects Oversee full-service and heavy maintenance contract delivery liaising with the Fleet Planner and supplier Reporting, investigation and management of incidents affecting fleet safety and reliability Identify, support development and implement plans to improve the reliability and maintainability of the fleet to maintain competitive advantage Support the Technical Team with information on the fleet and maintenance delivery Support the Fleet Manager as required in the asset management of the fleet Provide cover for the Fleet Manager and Fleet Planner for leave and sickness Delivery of ECM responsibilities and ability to manage functions II, III and IV Essential Qualifications: Manage, at a working level, workshops and suppliers for maintenance delivery and provide co-ordination for technical and supply problems Delivery of asset inspection process and undertake detailed asset inspections particularly during heavy maintenance Co-ordination and long-term planning of heavy maintenance and modifications On-site management of small-scale engineering projects Oversee full-service and heavy maintenance contract delivery liaising with the Fleet Planner and supplier Reporting, investigation and management of incidents affecting fleet safety and reliability Identify, support development and implement plans to improve the reliability and maintainability of the fleet to maintain competitive advantage Support the Technical Team with information on the fleet and maintenance delivery Support the Fleet Manager as required in the asset management of the fleet Provide cover for the Fleet Manager and Fleet Planner for leave and sickness Delivery of ECM responsibilities and ability to manage functions II, III and IV Working at Beacon Beacon is a rolling stock leasing company serving the European market.
