Freelance Head of IT Join to apply for the Freelance Head of IT role at Michael Page About Our Client Our client is a fast-growing international organisation operating across multiple countries, supported by a central technology team and autonomous local offices. The company is undergoing a phase of transformation, driven by growth, increasing cybersecurity requirements, and the need for greater IT governance at group level. Key Responsibilities Lead a global IT transformation with real impact on security and scalability Shape and implement a group-wide IT strategy in an international environment Job Description Assess the current IT landscape across all international offices Design and roll out a group-wide corporate / office IT strategy Harmonise infrastructure, workplace IT, networks, and security standards Centralise and optimise management of Microsoft 365 and related services Strengthen cybersecurity posture in line with group policies and CISO guidelines Build and manage group-level IT budgets (hardware, software, networks) Define and enforce standard operating procedures and IT governance Select, negotiate with, and manage IT vendors and outsourcing partners Lead and coordinate local IT managers and external suppliers Build business cases for centralisation and cost optimisation initiatives Act as the primary escalation point for local office IT needs and exceptions The Successful Applicant Proven senior IT leadership experience in international organisations Strong strategic mindset with hands‑on execution capability Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Ability to balance global standards with local operational flexibility High level of authority, resilience, and decision‑making confidence Strong understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, and compliance Pragmatic, structured, and results‑oriented leadership style What's On Offer High‑impact interim leadership role (6‑12 months) Full ownership of a group-wide IT transformation initiative Exposure to executive leadership (CTO, CISO, senior management) International scope and complex organisational challenges Competitive interim compensation aligned with senior responsibility Seniority Level Executive Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Information Technology Industries Staffing and Recruiting #J-18808-Ljbffr
