Flexcity, a leading European energy tech company within the Veolia Group, is looking for a resourceful Sales (Senior) to join our Belgian team.

This position offers the opportunity to join the Flexcity commercial team in Belgium, alongside a team of skilled colleagues from different backgrounds.

Historically, heat-intensive industries have relied on natural gas to produce steam and hot water. As these sectors move toward decarbonisation, they must adopt alternative methods for generating industrial heat. We believe Power-to-Heat technologies—such as electric boilers (eboilers), heat pumps, and thermal storage—will be essential in driving this transition.

Job Description

As a Sales (Senior), you will focus on this emerging market, where Flexcity Belgium aims to be a market leader.

You will be part of our commercial team and your role is divided into:

  1. Sales - 80%
    1. Extend the flexibility portfolio in Belgium by prospecting, negotiating and signing new contracts in different heat-intensive industries.
    2. Represent Flexcity in professional events, seminars and workshops.
    3. Set up and execute our sales strategy.
    4. Account Management: Manage a relationship and represent the existing customers, to keep a high degree of satisfaction of our services. This is done with the support of the portfolio team dedicated to our operations.
  2. Admin - 20%
    1. Prepare regular sales reports, performance metrics, and dashboards for internal reviews and team meetings.
    2. Handle contracts, invoices, and proposals, ensuring timely submission and compliance with company policies.
Key Qualifications

Hard Skills
  1. Fluent in English and French or Dutch, trilingual being a strong plus.
  2. Commercial experience in the industrial sector: ability to discuss opportunities with plant and energy managers within utilities, industrial companies or intensive electricity or heat consumers.
  3. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  4. Business development & sales expertise: Proven experience in identifying opportunities, driving revenue growth, and achieving sales targets.
  5. Account management: Skilled in managing client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, and driving long-term partnerships.
  6. Industry knowledge: Familiarity with one or more of the following sectors is a clear advantage: Energy or electricity markets in Belgium, Industrial sectors in Belgium, Flexibility services and solutions.
