Talent Partner | Fuelling growth for CDMOs, CROs, and Pharma ServicesThis is a European based remote role, ideally based in Belgium, Netherlands or Northern France with 40%-50% travel time.
Our customer is a multinational manufacturer of single-use bioprocessing solutions (SUT) used in the production of biological drugs, including monoclonal antibodies, cell therapies, gene therapies, and vaccines. In support of their exciting growth agenda in Europe, they wish to appoint a Business Development Manager.
This person will be responsible for establishing contact with new and existing customers across Europe, working with colleagues and distributors to provide strategic solutions for their customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct sales calls to promote and sell products and services.
- Establish sales forecasting and budgeting and set performance goals accordingly.
- Deliver revenue growth through the identification and development of new opportunities.
- Develops and implements strategic sales plans to accommodate corporate goals.
- Work with customer's Engineering, Production, Quality, and Purchasing personnel to determine needs and requirements.
- Travel throughout the territory to call on regular and prospective customers, speaking with customers at their facility or by phone.
- Grow customer accounts through mentoring the sales team to help develop customer opportunities and potential.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant area.
- At least 10 years of professional experience in sales, with a background in engineering and/or science.
- Sales experience within Biopharmaceutical or Biotechnology sector.
- Excellent commercial acumen, with the ability to think creatively and create positive long term customer partnerships.
- Problem solver and strategic thinker.
- Proven track record of building high performing sales teams.
- Able to demonstrate excellent account management and customer development experience.
- Ability to travel 40% - 50%.
- Technical background.
- 1 or more years in commercial background.
- Sales experience within Biopharmaceutical or Biotechnology sector.
