Business Development Manager

Our telecommunications client based in Brussels is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This is a contract/freelance position for 12 months initially with long term extensions.
Please note that the client is based in Brussels but the candidate will be expected to travel all over Belgium to client meetings as often as possible.
Main responsibility is to increase occupancy and lease rates on the company site infrastructure and develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
- Develop an maintain relationships with mobile operators.
- Ability to understand the client's pain points and where the organisation can play to offer creative solutions
- Market the company sites to all potential customers, and generate new sales leads
- Source and develop tower acquisitions
- Create and maintain the lead list that is aligned with company's revenue targets
- Accountable for Contracting Process: Offering, Negotiation and deal closing for all leases in a timely manner
- Account management of new Tenants after contracting and onboarding stage, including new Tenant onboarding process definition.
- Mapping out yearly growth plans, setting milestones and strategies for tenant acquisition that drives growth
- Management overview of status and performance of contract and tenant on-boarding processes
- Accountable to ensure the accuracy of the database in terms of tenant leases
- Responsible to deliver detailed reports to Accounting for Tenant billing purposes.
- Report to key stakeholders on commercial activities
