Financial Performance Lead (Physical Asset Management)Location: Braine l'Alleud - hybrid flexibilityStatus: FreelanceDuration: 12-months initiallyWe are supporting a global organisation in securing a Financial Performance Lead/Manager within their Physical Asset Management function. The role operates in a multinational environment across research, development, manufacturing, and operational settings.The position serves as the End-to-End Financial SME for Engineering, Sites & Facilities, and Asset Management leadership, enabling strategic financial planning, TOTEX governance, maintenance expenditure standardisation, and lifecycle asset performance.Required Experience & SkillsCandidates must have 10+ years in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (Pharma/Biologics/Medical Device - Ideal)Strong FP&A background (people, process and tools) with strategic expertiseExperience in maintenance operations, asset-heavy environments, or TOTEX managementProven experience in program or project management.Leadership experience in matrix, multicultural environments.Ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and governance bodies.Excellent communication skills — able to engage both technical teams and senior leadership.Strong negotiation, influencing ability, and decision-making skills under pressure.Nice-to-HaveCapability to coach and train teams on financial and technical topics.Key Responsibilities: Financial Ownership & InsightsAct as the E2E financial subject matter expert across ideation, delivery, maintenance, and asset replacement.Provide financial and operational insights to leadership and develop frameworks to support execution of the asset management strategy.Develop and standardise reporting for total Maintenance Expenditures (CAPEX & OPEX) in alignment with internal governance models.Performance Management & StandardisationEnhance and standardise TOTEX planning and financial performance tracking processes.Drive global best practices, harmonised processes, and common definitions for asset-related financial reporting.Operational PartnershipCollaborate with Asset Owners, Engineering, Maintenance, HSE, Finance and PMO teams to ensure budgets are complete, prioritised, and aligned with asset needs.Work closely with supporting asset management functions (Standards & Technology, Asset Information) to manage the global asset fleet.Lead change initiatives supporting new ways of working and operational standardisation.Tools & Capability BuildingDesign and deploy financial performance tools tailored to asset management teams.Upskill stakeholders in financial understanding, processes, systems, and tools.Hybrid Flexibility following companies regular homeworking policy (40% remote)Apply directly or email alexander.sysum@msipharma.com to find out more.
